Z - Crested Gecko
Meet the creature that started it all! This was originally Zelda, but as Z got older, we noticed it wasn't a she like we were told, it was a he. Z was not recused, but purchased from a local reptile store. After learning about crested geckos and how fun it was to take care of him, our reptile family grew.
Link - Crested Gecko
Meet our adopted gecko, Link. We were attending a local reptile expo and noticed an enclosure that said "Adopt". We were told that the rescue was filled and didn't have room for him. That broke my heart, so we adopted him! He's been a great addition to our family. Unlike his bother Z, he is very chill and likes to hang out.
LeeLoo Dallas - Bearded Dragon
Meet our adopted bearded dragon, LeeLoo Dallas (named from the character in Fifth Element). While adopting Link, we asked if the rescue happened to have a bearded dragon. Talk about perfect timing, they were taking one in within the hour. Before even seeing her, we decided to adopt her. She was being rehome for the second time. The current owner was a school teacher and Leeloo was the class pet, but it wasn't working out and they were unable to care for her another.
